NYLD

Today we went to the Vodafone Center for NYLD (National Young Leaders Day). When we first arrived there, we didn't know where to go. But we found out we were in the front rows. The first speaker was William Pike. He talked about All Passion No Limits,being positive and his story. The second speaker was Mrs Rukumoana . She talked about If You Believe In Yourself,Anything Is Possible, it doesn't matter what you look like,you were born to stand out and her story. Then there was this game called egg roulette.There was one boy and one girl. The boy got two raw eggs in his face and the girl got three hard-boiled eggs int her face.The third speakers were Riley and Steve Hathaway.They talked about if your passionate about something do it and to inspire others to do the right thing.Then we had morning tea. The fourth speaker was Darryl Sabin.He talked about when Stuff Happens, giving everything your best and when you work hard,you can achieve anything. Then we played with these huge round balls, then did the Mexican wave.  The next speaker was Libby Christophers. She talked about how she wanted to save the Maui dolphin.Then we had lunch. There was also this speaker called Phoenix Pule'anga. He talked about making the most of every opportunity.Then Alex and Corban from The Block came and talked about that a leader should be kind,generous and hard working,you should know your strengths and weaknesses and don't care about what other people think of you.Then Alison Pugh said don't care about if you don't do what you need to do because no one will care.Last of all,Jamie McDell talked that you have to take every single chance and respect your opinions.Then she sang two songs called "Crash" and "Sunshine". And that was the end of National Young Leaders Day 2015.
